Rachel + Rich - Rittenhouse By Streetlight

Late fall weddings are interesting, because it always feels like you're racing against the sun. In this case, by losing that race, we actually won. With no sunlight left, we used all of the lights of the city - from street lights to parking garages to 7-11 windows - and came up with photos unlike any I've ever taken. There is something magical about realizing that a great photograph can be taken anywhere as long as you have the right subjects. Rachel in her 1920's dress and veil, Rich with his slightly nerdy good looks... these guys stuck with me through my most experimental portrait session yet.
