People always wonder where traditions come from, there is a mystery and a romance about taking part in something larger than just yourself. Ironically, traditions come from someone breaking the rules and doing something different in the first place. For Brigid and Chris maybe that started with her wearing a beautiful rose gold sequin dress instead of the traditional white, but it went much further than that. These kids truly march to the beat of their own pizza, and no one would dare tell them otherwise. Some of my favorite photos of the day were from spots we trespassed on, from concrete slabs where weeds overgrew, from some of the most forgotten parts of North East Philadelphia. As y'all know, I wouldn't have it any other way.
